WHERE IT BEGAN
It all began with Crowdsalat — our messy DIY baby that somehow grew from a tiny zine into a full-blown festival. We were just friends with cameras, sketchbooks, and too many ideas, trying to build a space that felt like us: punk shows, tattoos, art, and raw energy packed into one weekend. When it ended, we promised ourselves we’d rest. But, of course, we didn’t. We kept creating, printing shirts, designing merch — that’s how Flowers&You was born. What started as an idea between friends became our way of keeping that subcultural heartbeat alive, even when there wasn’t a stage in front of us.
But you can only stay away from the noise for so long. After a few years of doing our own things — filming, designing, running pop-ups — that same question kept coming up: What if we did it again?
Only this time, smarter. Bigger. In a new city. We didn’t want to just revive Crowdsalat; we wanted to evolve it. Combine everything we’d learned through Flowers&You — the visuals, the storytelling, the community — and bring it back to life with a new energy.
So that’s what we did. Noise & Needles became our next chapter — a blend of everything we love: tattoos, subculture, and live music, all stitched together by the same DIY roots that started it all. The city might have changed, the name too, but the crew and the spirit are still the same. Crowdsalat taught us how to start a fire. Flowers&You kept it burning. Noise & Needles is what happens when you throw all that passion back on stage.
